A talent show that modernizes the ancient Arab tradition of improvised poetry! Thanks to renewed interest in the art of ‘spoken word’ coupled with the popularity of twitter in Gulf countries, this format pioneered the use of social media engagement. Through Twitter, the audience participate with a tweeted verse and in each episode, talented poets compete from the comfort of their homes. The finalists are invited to the studio for the final battle to win the hearts of their audience and the jury as they vie for the grand prize.
